from the lonely island to crowded streets

because the weather wasn't perfect enough to go to lantau island, i went to the pier to inform where i could go to instead, and actually, there are about 6 different ferries going to 6 different islands, so i chose Peng Chau, a pretty small Island with the size of about one square kilometre.

it took me about 30 minutes till arrival on the island and the weather also cleaned up till then and got quite hot!
and after 5 minutes I was really glad about my decision to come here because this place was just wonderful.

In comparison to the urban life in HK, it was completely silent everywhere, noone had stress, the islanders spent there time fishing, playing or just sitting around chatting.

So the people and even the tourists where much more relaxed and friendly than in the city so i stayed there the whole day even though there wasn't that much to see;

there were a few temples (one of them was about 2200 Years old but sadly i wasn't allowed to take pictures)

a small beach but the water was everything but clean (the sewage flew directly into the sea....) lots of fisher boats, a place called 'Finger Hill' where you can overlook the whole island (to see, how small it actually is)

they had something called a 'green plant organic farm' which wasn't anything else than a Biofarm (maybe that's really special in hong kong?!) and a small and really nice village without cars at all, everybody went by bicycle.

in the evening, back in HK, I went out to explore the Yuen Po St. Bird Garden, which was already closed, so i went on through the Flower market, which was just about to close ;)so i coninued to my real destination, the Ladies' Market;
nope, that's neither a market to buy ladies nor a market only for ladies and finally i have no clue why it's called ladies' market, it's just a really big market, just like the temple street night market, but even bigger and it doesn't take place only at night.
in my last week in HK, i'll go out to waste the rest of my money in those places, because they are just too cheap.
subsequent to ladie's market, there where very much stores and at this place, i saw more people running through that street, than ever before in my life (and it was just a ordinary street after all like many else)
quite breathtaking.

Like usual, here are some closing impressions
