King HONG
on wednesday took a look at the HK arcades, asia is known for its big concentration on videogames after all, so that should be a part you may not want to miss.I went to the Namco Wonder Park in the World trade centre, which is one of Hong Kongs biggest arcade and even has its own currency;
it wasn't even too expensive, i lost only 1,5 euro and played 3 times, but spent more time to watch the Chinese having fun (and actually they really had) and wondering about the strange ideas of some games (a shooter where you have to write on a keyboard as fast as you can to survive...)The Pictures I took are too dark, but that's only the exposure, it wasn't that dark after all and it was extremely LOUD there, every gaming machine tried to drown the others, weird.
Yesterday it was still raining, so i had no other choice than visiting the museum of history (oh no!...museum!)I didn't know what to expect from that place and at last I was really surprised;
The Hong Kong Museum of History isn't just a museum like others, it's just like a little disneyland, built with an unbelievable effort to make you part of the scenery.
The Exibition is separated into 8 Galleries, beginning with the HK region 400mio years ago (geological stuff, clime etc ) and ending with HK today (natural disasters, politics and so on);
they have rebuilt lots of stuff like boats, a house of a farmer of the HK region 1000 years ago and even a whole street out of the english colonial era with old tea stores, flats and much more.
You can also go in one of the several mini-cinemas to watch quite costly done short documentations about the current theme (full of 3D animations and room ambience collaborating with the movie content and such stuff).
in other galleries you learn about the japanese occupation of HK, the 2nd World War and the HK Film Industry.

I think, even if you wouldn't be interested in history, it'd be worth the 10 HK$(1 euro) anyway ...

after taking lunch i went to the space museum, which wasn't that exiting but in the evening i watched a movie about the moon there and the actually presented it on a hemisphere so you saw the picture all around you, sitting in canvas chairs,
This kind of movie is called Omnimax and i can really recommend to do this if you ever get the chance.
