Market zapping
on Monday I went to the Peak again to go to the Aberdeen Country Park by Foot, but sadly it was already to late for this trip (13km whith many ups and downs)so i just walked through the Country Park near the Peak (I think it's called something like 'Lok Fu Country Park') which was really pretty and exhausting enough (about 6 km)
In the end I had to hurry, because sun went down and i had no idea how to return to the Peak again but luckily i got back (covered with sweat) right in time.
yesterdays weather wasn't so good, so i cancelled the lantau island trip again (the weather won't clear up till weekend) and went by the subway to a really nice complex of temples amongst many blocks of flats.
like in other temples before, people were sacrificing fruit and burning their joss sticks while praying to the district's god.
they have a nice little landscape there with some shrines, lakes whith turtles in it, waterfalls and about everything you'd expect from a place like this.
Then I went again to the Bird Garden which fortunately had opened this time;
Men are meeting here to sell birds for prices up to 1000Euro, to exchange knowledge,
to buy food or just to play cards.
Afterwards I roamed through the Flower market which is located just next to the bird garden; here you probably can buy every plant on the planet flowers in every color and size and really weird looking plants.
on my way back to Nathan Road, I came across the Goldfish Market where the fish are stored in little bags filled with water,
followed by the Fish marked (where they probably sell the goldfish which didn't make it...) which is a classical market hall where to buy really fresh (and mostly still living) fish.At last some closing pictures and as reason of the demand some pics of my new Cam (Canon Eos 350D)
I someone wants me to shoot an special photo, just tell me, i got all the time in the world :)
