10000 reasons to hate Hong the Kong...
... if you don't like Buddha, beacause in Hong Kong, you can visit the 10000 Buddha temple where you actually can find about 12800 little Buddha-statues.
Some of teh big ones are looking quite weird, for example one of them has arms coming out of his eyeholes holding his eyes in their hands;
in general, the most fascinating thing about those litle buddhas is; that they all differ from each other, theres always a slight difference in their gesture or their faces.
afterwards I went to Tai Po by train, that's a suburbian part of Hiong the Kong and it's more like a village there;but not too much to see there, I just walked around and took some pictures (ummph).
the other days I was just roaming through Causeway Bay where I saw some nice markets, or exploring Hong kong by the MTR (the subway);
One really cool aspect of HK: when you're in a district of HK where you're surrounded by skyscrapers, thousands of people and cars running and driving around you;
then just go some stations by the MTR and suddenly you may stand within a complex of temples or a fishing village.
By the way, I was informed that the temperature in vienna already dropped down to -18 degrees (can't remember it has ever been that cold there) and I just wanted to note that i was actually sweating, because it was so hot when i went to the 10000 buddhas (hihihihi)
so finally it seems like I picked the right time to do that journey (I think I should be prepared for some hate mails now....but at last I'm glad about every mail I get, so, please hate me ;) )
As you might already have noticed, I'm not posting any pics today;
that's because my card reader is damaged and this windows crap don't allow me to connect my digital camera; grrrr,
it's a pity but I hope to get a new reader soon, then I'll append them and meanwhile I hope you can settle for my stories.
But hopefully i can add the pictures tomorrow;
you must have seen especially the buddha-pictures!
